Our experience:

We have nearly 20 years of experience in immigrant investor visa programs, both in the U.S. and abroad including the PIDC Regional Center, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Regional Center with the PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) in Pennsylvania and the Hawaii Regional Center with the State Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT). We have a staff with in-depth knowledge of the latest immigration procedures and requirements related to the Program. For our Regional Centers, CanAm has raised more than $429 million for projects totally $2 billion.

Our relationship with EI Capital:

All our projects are reviewed and recommended by EI Capital, a private for-profit consulting firm whose principals have extensive experience in the motion picture and television industry, in particular the structured financing of such production for major studios. They have also been instrumental in guiding legislative changes in a number of states that have benefited the entertainment industry, including financial incentives to attract productions.

Our projects:

The Los Angeles Film Regional Center will only lend to film studios with the highest corporate ratings such as the major U.S. film studios, known as the "Big Six" studios, which include 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Paramount, Universal Studios, Warner Bros. and Disney or major independent studios with strong collateral.

Our job creation methodology:

All job creation through the Los Angeles Film Regional Center projects will be indirect jobs based on spending using the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Economic Analysis issued by RIMS II final-demand employment multipliers. This job creation methodology has been approved by USCIS in the Los Angeles Film Regional Center's designation.
